Ebeco UK and its parent in Sweden have spent the last few months refining and expanding the already extensive Ebeco range of electric underfloor heating systems into packages designed specifically for the UK market.  These developments can all be seen in their latest 36 page Catalogue.

Of particular interest will be the revolutionary EB-Therm 300, a programmable underfloor heating thermostat designed for optimal energy saving and ease of use.  Using ‘fuzzy technology' for improved control, the thermostat is equipped with an LCD display showing the temperature both graphically and digitally.  The menu system is accessed by the turn and press control knob, making the unit extremely user friendly. With three separate temperature-regulating functions, the EB-Therm 300 can operate as a room thermostat, a floor thermostat, or a combination of room thermosat with overheating protection in the floor.

The programmable facility provides a large number of options for personalised settings to meet with individual needs and includes two preset energy saving programmes (home and office) for even easier setting up.  EB-Therm 300 is now included in all kits offered by Ebeco UK as it can be used either where underfloor heating is only providing background warming of a cold floor or for where it is providing the sole source of heat in the room.Standard colour is White with Aluminium or Bronze front covers also available.

Other additions to the range include a higher-powered version of the Thermoflex heating mat. The new Thermoflex 160 is intended for use under tiled floors and provides an alternative to the Multiflex 20 cable (which is buried in screed) for heating conservatories.  The existing Thermoflex 120 is still used in most other tile heating applications.

The 65 W/m² version of the extremely robust and reliable Ebeco Foil has been augmented by a new 100 W/m² version that becomes the standard foil product in the UK.Ebeco foil provides a versatile system for heating laminate and timber floors and the 100 W/m² version is normally sufficient to act as the sole heat source in new buildings.

The catalogue also carries information on the new Ebeco Cable Kit 300.  The new cable is slightly more powerful than the older version and has been made more versatile so that, as well as being a general purpose and undertile heating cable, it also replaces the Multiflex 12 cable for between joist applications.
