IT’S ALL HAPPENING IN HALL 4 at Interbuild 2008 with a line-up of big piece attractions taking centre stage within the ‘Truck & Tool’ section of the show.
Traditionally one of Interbuild’s busiest areas, ‘Truck & Tool’ attracts a bevy of big brands and this year’s annual debut (Sunday 26th through to Thursday 30th October) is no exception. The commercial vehicle sector has been a rousing success with Mercedes, Mitsubishi Fuso, Citroen, Ford, Isuzu, Volkswagen, Vauxhall and Fiat already confirmed.
Likewise, big ticket tool manufacturers showcasing the latest innovations from across both the hand and power tool markets include Bahco, Stanley, Irwin, Rubi, DeWalt, Bosch, Metabo, Makita and Fein.
“Much of Hall 4’s content is entirely dedicated to catering for our professional trade audiences,” says Interbuild’s Senior Marketing Manager, Sam Matthews. “The trades are the lifeblood of our industry and sitting right at the heart of the show, our ‘Truck & Tool’ cluster is always a very ‘buzzy’ area.

“In true ‘Truck & Tool’ style, our new show features starring within Hall 4 at Interbuild 2008 are big, bold, brash and anticipated to be real crowd drawers.”
Hall 4 highlights at this year’s event include a fashion show, parading the latest in practical work wear trends; a tool-to-tool challenge, hosted within a boxing ring; and a Curry Club catering option, adding a bit of spice to this year’s agenda.
The newly created FMB showcase stand will also be located here. Gone is ‘The Biz’ banner that The Federation normally resides under and in its place will sit a sizeable space aptly named FMB On-Site.
FMB experts will be on-hand to give the trades’ essential advice at its central information point and a café constructed entirely from site materials will be serving up the Federation’s critically acclaimed Make Mine a Builders Tea.
“There is tremendous excitement surrounding this year’s event,” says the FMB’s Director of Membership Services, Robin Hood-Leeder. “The organisers are certainly going all-out to bring about one of the biggest shake-ups in show business-to-business history and I am hugely optimistic that Interbuild’s annual debut will be a fantastic ‘first’ for us all.”
